SERVICES

Consultations can take place in person in my Forest Row clinic (near East Grinstead, Sussex), or by Zoom or telephone.
I offer a free 15-minute phone assessment to discuss whether Nutritional Therapy could help you. Please get in touch to arrange your phone call.

As your nutritional therapist, I will:

  • Review your complete health history
  • Look at your diet and lifestyle and assess nutritional status (this means eating the right amounts and variety of good quality foods to meet your nutritional needs to support all body functions, and maintain good health)
  • Assess root causes of your health issues. See Functional Medicine approach for more information.
  • Recommend laboratory testing where appropriate as part of a strategy to assess root causes, and supplements to boost nutritional status or alleviate symptoms. Laboratory tests and supplements are optional. For more information, see below.
  • Work with you to devise a personalised plan of manageable dietary and lifestyle changes to support better health, based on your health history, lifestyle, and goals.

What you receive:

Nutrition and Lifestyle Plan

You will receive your Nutrition and Lifestyle Plan either at the end of the consultation if face-to-face, or within 48 hours if by Zoom or telephone.
The Nutrition & Lifestyle Plan includes a summary of what we discussed and a number of agreed action points.
Depending on whether this is an initial or follow-up consultation, this may include:

Working alongside other complementary healthcare therapies

Nutrition is a foundational component of wellness but it doesn’t encompass all the elements that contribute to a fulfilling and healthy life, such as physical activity/fitness, and mental/emotional wellbeing.

If I recognise you could benefit from additional support, I have strong therapeutic alliances with complementary healthcare therapists, eg acupuncture, osteopathy, personal training, herbalism, homeopathy, counselling.

The nutrition review is a one-off consultation providing an analysis of your usual diet.  It’s for those wanting to check their diet is optimal for their health or wanting to improve their diet and lifestyle.

While it isn’t an in-depth analysis of root causes of health issues, it can provide an opportunity to consider whether the current diet may be impacting health issues.  The nutrition review is based on your three-day food diary.  You will receive a food diary analysis with recommendations for appropriate changes to your way of eating.  I can provide you with meal ideas and recipes.

NB: I will be unable to give advice on factors underlying your health issues, on health conditions, or recommend any supplements/functional tests. A full consultation is needed for an in-depth analysis of health issues.

This one-off consultation includes the nutrition review (see above) and supplement plan.

I am available to deliver a variety of educational talks on subjects such as:

  • Optimal nutrition
  • Digestive health
  • Detoxification
  • Metabolic health
  • Hormonal health
  • Musculoskeletal health
  • Weight management.

Please get in contact to discuss this further.
